How we decide what to publish, what we won't publish, and how we correct mistakes.
Editorial independence
ChatGPTAppsRank is independent. Our rankings reflect editorial judgement based on a published methodology. Apps cannot pay to be ranked higher, and we do not coordinate ranking placement with any vendor.
No fake ratings
We do not display user ratings yet, and we do not invent them. There is no '0 reviews' state. When we add community feedback, it will be sourced from real users and labeled clearly.
How reviews are written
Every app is manually evaluated against the methodology criteria. Reviews are written by editors and scored by hand. We disclose 'Last tested' dates and the testing environment where relevant.
How corrections are handled
If we get something wrong, we fix it quickly and visibly. Submit a correction via the form, and we'll review. Significant changes to rankings are dated.
Sponsored content disclosure
If sponsored content appears, it is labeled clearly and never replaces editorial rankings. Affiliate links never determine ranking position.
